All components of the kit are either baked on powder coated steel, stainless steel, or plated to reduce or eliminate corrosion damage. The hydraulic cylinder is factory pressure tested and certified with a warranty. The electro-hydraulic pump and cylinder operate in a closed system that eliminates fluid contamination and the potential for leaks. The cylinder return line has an adjustable flow control valve that regulates the down stroke speed to compensate for payload, fluid temperature, and safety. The valve can be manually closed to prevent loss of pressure in the cylinder during under-bed repairs or maintenance.
One of the most important features of the revolutionary 180 degree sweep scissor hoist design is the ability to quickly lock it in the fully extended position with a simple safety pin.
This is an easy bolt on kit which includes everything needed to convert your pick-up!!!
No other scissor hoist in the world can be locked with a safety pin for operator, repairman or bystander safety. Additionally, the pin can be inserted from either side of the vehicle while standing clear of the danger zone under the bed. This feature ensures life safety while allowing simple lubrication, or complex maintenance tasks to be completed on the vehicle quickly. With proper training and care, fully one half of the scissor hoist, including the cylinder, can be removed and replaced in the field while the other half supports the bed via safety pin lock.
A further unique and essential design feature of the kit is the torsion tube which connects both sides of the rear hinge together. This ensures the hinges work together simultaneously to prevent or reduce the bed twisting effect of an offset payload. The light side works thru the torsion tube to add leverage to the heavy side. This feature is patented and not found in any other dump systems worldwide.

The major components of the kit and hoist are made out of ¾”, machined and welded into configurations that can be simply bolted together on the frame of the truck, then all hoses and wiring connected and tested before the bed is replaced. After testing, the bed is placed into the channels’, holes aligned with our integrated welded nuts, and bolted down. The kit components have slots machined in them to allow adjustment during installation, testing, and alignment.
