The bolt-on installation typically requires 5 to 10 hours to complete in your garage or driveway. Don't have the time or skills to install this? Go to your local truck dealership or body shop, they can handle all tasks. Our kits don't require welding of any components. Welding on vehicles equipped with computerized engine management systems can cause damage not covered by your warranty.
PRODUCT
The patented Over The Bumper Dumper kit is designed to lift the rear of the stock bed, with tailgate down, to dump over the factory bumper and hitch. It allows the owner to retain all factory original equipment, functions, utility and towing capacity without part or frame modifications, relocation or welding. The kit is designed around the existing bed and frame fastener locations in order to utilize these for true all bolt-on installation. Drilling or welding the frames of late model trucks is either prohibited or not recommended by the manufacturers for chassis and electronic warranty purposes.
The bolt-on feature allows the owner to remove the system in the future, to use on a new truck or return the truck to factory original, without cutting welds or refitting/repairing the bumper, hitch, frame and bed.
For aesthetics, the kit is designed to retain the external appearance of the truck by raising the bed body line only ¼”. This is the thickness of our steel components and noise control bumpers between the bed and frame. The dump system installation can only be discovered by close examination, or surprise when it’s raised.
The truck bed remains the same height and goes undetected when installed properly!!!
Control of the system is from a corded remote with a simple toggle switch. We also offer an optional radio control key with 150’ or better range that‘s useful when the operator leaves the cab.
This unit will lift bed to a 45 degree angle in approx 10 seconds!!!
